5/10/2009-Zach Taylor, Marc Manko, and Ben Koelker ascend the Northwest Flank of Mt.   Mt. Belford rises above Missouri Gulch right above the treeline.  Belford sits in the central Sawatch mountains and offers a host of snowboard/ski descents including the west couloir, the northwest gulch, and the east face.  All these routes provide 35-40+ degree alpine riding.
