Handies is a gentle 14er by San Juan standards.  The standard route is a hike up without alot of elevation gain.  Handies offers several nice snowboard/ski descent lines.  The west face is a moderate descent with the shortest mileage and the east face offers some steeper terrain with longer mileage and vertical gain.
